Springs, Colorado. The Board
received and considered your request of April 22, 2002. As a result of that letter, and the
discussion, it was the decision of the Southwestern Water Conservation District that the principal
balance and interest payments due on the $75,000 note between the Pine River Irrigation District
and the Southwestern Water Conservation District shall be deferred for a period of five (5) years
from the date of the Board meeting. It was understood and agreed that the deferment of principal
and interest payments for the next five years would perhaps allow the Pine River Irrigation
District and/or the Southwestern Water Conservation District to recoup the $75,000 loan, plus
accrued interest, in the event other parties should take over the construction of a domestic water
system which had previously been sponsored by the Pine River Irrigation District.
If you have any questions with regard to the action taken by the Board, please do not
hesitate to contact me at any time.
Sincerely yours,
FVK:law
Fred V. Kroeger, President
cc: Board of Directors
