The cost estimate for the selected plan will be better refined than for the <br />alternative evaluations. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Deliverable <br />The cost estimates will be integrated in Tasks 1, 2, and 5. <br />TASK 4 — Public Outreach and Involvement <br />Description of Task <br />The District Board of Directors will implement a public involvement /information <br />program that will present the information generated in Tasks 1 -3 to the public (land and <br />homeowners, eligible voters, other governmental agencies, other entities, etc...) to <br />provide input in the alternative evaluation and plan selection process. The Tasks will <br />include public meetings, web - pages, agency updates, coordination meetings, etc... <br />Method/Procedure <br />Deliverable <br />All public input collected at meetings, by email or web blogs will be summarized. <br />TASK 5 — Plan Selection <br />Description of Task <br />The information and input developed and received in Tasks 1 through 4 will be <br />summarized and further assessed if necessary, so that the District Board can select a <br />preferred plan. Any evaluations not developed in the above tasks will be prepared for <br />final Board consideration. The District Board will select a preferred development plan <br />that includes the initial water source location, phasing of the distribution system, and <br />future water sources if necessary. A cost estimate will be prepared. A thorough <br />description of the plan will be prepared in formats for inclusion in the Master Plan Report <br />and for public distribution. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Deliverable <br />The Final Report describing the Master Plan will be developed. The Final Report will <br />describe the distribution system, the preferred water source, and associated cost <br />estimates. Summary of the preferred plan in a public format. <br />3 <br />
