Brief Statement of Reasons Why the Applicant is Seeking Party Status: <br />The Morrison Creek Metropolitan Water and Sanitation District ("Morrison <br />Creek") is organized pursuant to Title 32, Arcticle 4 of the Colora.do Revised <br />Statutes and is located in Routt County, Colorado. As such, Morrison Creek is <br />mandated to conserve the waters of the State of Colorado and seek the greatest <br />beneficial use of these waters for its constituency and the State of Colorado. In <br />furtherance of this mandate, Morrison Creek has acquired numerous <br />Page -1-
