Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and in the states of Baja California Norte and the Sonora of <br />Mexico. <br />USFWS is proposing that 15 reaches of the Colorado River system (Figure I-2-1) be <br />designated as critical habitat for the razorback sucker. In the Upper Basin, critical habitat <br />designation is being proposed for areas of the Green, Yampa, Duchesne, Colorado, White, <br />Gunnison, and San Juan rivers. Portions of the Colorado, Gila, Salt, and Verde rivers are <br />being proposed in the Lower Basin. Of the historical range of the razorback sucker, 52 <br />percent is now proposed for designation as critical habitat.
