Colorado <br /> <br />a. Fryingpan-Arkansas Project <br /> <br />Although the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project is not a participating project of <br />the Colorado River Storage Project because it does not participate in the <br />Upper Colorado River Basin Fund, it is sometimes referred to as a limited <br />participating project because it does utilize water diverted from the Upper <br />Colorado River System to the eastern slope of Colorado. <br /> <br />The Eastern Colorado Area Office, located in Loveland, Colorado, directs <br />the operation and maintenance activities of the Colorado-Big Thompson and <br />Fryingpan-Arkansas Projects. A field office is located in Pueblo to coordinate <br />with the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District and the State <br />Division Engineer. <br /> <br />National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance on the Ruedi Round <br />II water marketing program was completed on Janupry 16, 1990 with signing <br /> <br />44 <br />
