<br />Generation at CRSP powerplants amounted to 5.9 billion kilowatt-hours
<br />during water year 1995. The major portion, 4.4 billion kilowatt-hours, was
<br />produced at Glen Canyon Dam. The balance was produced at Flaming Gorge,
<br />Blue Mesa, Morrow Point, Crystal, Fontenelle and Towaoc Powerplants.
<br />(McPhee Powerplant was out of service for repairs during fiscal year 1995.)

<br />C. AUTHORIZED PARTICIPATING PROJECTS
<br />
<br />Twenty-one participating projects have been authorized by Congress.
<br />Eleven were authorized by the initial authorizing Act of April 11, 1956 (70
<br />Stat. 1 05). two were authorized by the Act of June 13, 1963 (76 Stat. 96).
<br />three were authorized by the Act of September 2, 1964 (78 Stat. 852) and
<br />five were authorized by the Act of September 30, 1968 (82 Stat. 886).
<br />Eleven are in Colorado, three in New Mexico, two in Utah, three in Wyoming,
<br />one in both Colorado and Wyoming and one in both Colorado and New
<br />Mexico. Participating projects develop, or would develop, water in the Upper
<br />Colorado River System for irrigation, M&I uses and other purposes and
<br />participate in the use of revenues from the Upper Colorado River Basin Fund
<br />to help repay the costs of irrigation features that are beyond the ability of the
<br />water users to repay.
