• GUIDELINES FOR THE PREPARATION <br />OF THE INTRODUCTION SECTION <br />FEBRUARY 5, 1996 <br />An introduction section will be prepared when management determines that captive <br />propagation and introduction is necessary for the restoration or recovery of a listed, <br />candidate, or species of special concern. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will initiate the <br />planning process for the management areas. Its development will be a cooperative <br />partnership process between the Service, States, other Federal agencies, Tribes, and private <br />interest groups. The introduction section will be reviewed by the recovery team or other <br />management groups and approved by the Regional Director, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, <br />Region 6, Denver, Colorado.
