Hunters Creek <br />have been used since 1982. <br />3.32 Establish South Platte River and Arkansas River Greenback <br />broodstocks at Colorado Division of Wildlife hatcheries. These <br />broodstocks will be based on a mixture of historic populations <br />within their respective drainages. <br />Eggs from historic populations of South Platte greenbacks were <br />shipped to the CDOW experimental hatchery in 1989, 1990 and <br />1992. Eggs from the Saratoga NFH and South Apache Creek were <br />shipped to the CDOW Experimental Hatchery in 1992. Although <br />greenback eggs and fry have been produced at the Experimental <br />Hatchery, fungus infections have eliminated a substantial <br />number of the mature broodstock now that malachite green cannot <br />be used for the control of fungus on hatchery fish. <br />3.33 PreAare reports on the status of the hatcherv nroaram. The <br />Bozeman FTC and CDOW Experimental Hatchery should annually <br />report the status of the greenback hatchery project. Annual <br />reports have been prepared by each hatchery. <br />3.34 Provide information necessarv for development of a loner-term <br />manaaement plan and cooAerative aareement.
