Representative average and extreme hourly releases from Flaming Gorge Dam for January and February, 1994. 4.3 RIVER FLOWS IN STUDY AREA Green River flows and monthly volumes within the study area were recorded by the USGS gage near Jensen, UT. Average daily flows for the winter of 1993-94 were highest during December (3060 cfs) dropping in January (2660 cfs) and February (2520 cfs). Monthly volumes were similar with highest volume in December (188,200 acre-ft) dropping in January (163,600 acre-ft) and February (140,000 acre-ft). Table 4 summarizes average monthly flows and monthly volumes for the Green River near Jensen during this study and average post-impoundment monthly flows for 1976 - 1990. Figure 3 shows mean daily flows for the Green River near Jensen during this study. Table 4.
