CRWCD projects that were modeled include the Pot Hook Project and the
Powder Wash Project. P&M projects modeled include Three Forks Reservoir and Sheep
Mountain Reservoir. The water rights for each of these projects are summarized in Table
1, page 6. Specific project characteristics, required input to WIRSOS, and modeling
scenarios are discussed below.
3.2 PROTECT CHARACTERISTICS
3.2.1 Pot Hook Project
The Pot Hook Project consists of the Pot Hook Reservoir on Slater Creek, Pot
Hook Canal, Two Bar Canal, Boone Lateral and Deer Lodge Lateral. Pot Hook Canal
would divert storage water or Slater Creek flows directly from the reservoir through a
tunnel upstream of the dam. The Two Bar Canal, and the Boone and Deer Lodge
released to the stream from Pot Hook Reservoir (See Figure 2, page 7). Proposed uses
Laterals divert direct flow from the Little Snake River supplemented with storage water
for Pot Hook Reservoir water under the June 5, 1959 conditional right (73,580 AF), the
21
