24 <br />is Humpback chub <br />o Humpback chub spawn during the recessional limb of the hydrograph, shortly <br />after peak spring flows. <br />Tyus and Karp (1989) reported humpback chub spawning to occur just <br />after peak spring flows in the Yampa River. <br />Archer et al. (1985a) and Valdez and Clemmer (1982) reported a similar <br />pattern at the Blackrocks site on the Upper Colorado River mainstem. <br />Kaeding and Zimmerman (1983) reported the same situation for the <br />humpback chub population in the Little Colorado River, Arizona. <br />Burdick and Kaeding (1985) reported similar findings in the Colorado <br />River. <br />• Haynes and Muth (1984, 1985a, b) and Haynes et al. (1982b, 1983, <br />1984, 1985) provided supporting data. <br />Razorback sucker <br />o Razorback sucker spawn during the ascending limb of the hydrograph up to <br />the time of peak spring flows. <br />Tyus and Karp (1989) reported razorback sucker spawning to occur <br />during the rising Jimb of the hydrograph up to about the peak spring <br />flow.
