o Humpback chub spawn during the recessional limb of the hydrograph, shortly
after peak spring flows.
Tyus and Karp (1989) reported humpback chub spawning to occur just
after peak spring flows in the Yampa River.
Archer et al. (1985a) and Valdez and Clemmer (1982) reported a similar
pattern at the Blackrocks site on the Upper Colorado River mainstem.
Kaeding and Zimmerman (1983) reported the same situation for the
humpback chub population in the Little Colorado River, Arizona.
Burdick and Kaeding (1985) reported similar findings in the Colorado
River.
• Haynes and Muth (1984, 1985a, b) and Haynes et al. (1982b, 1983,
1984, 1985) provided supporting data.
Razorback sucker
o Razorback sucker spawn during the ascending limb of the hydrograph up to
the time of peak spring flows.
Tyus and Karp (1989) reported razorback sucker spawning to occur
during the rising Jimb of the hydrograph up to about the peak spring
