those experiences are 800,1,100, and 2,000 ft3/s,
respectively.
Spawning and egg incubation flows of 125 ft3/s
(April 1 to June 30) are needed for rainbow trout and
65 ft3/s (September 1 to March 31) for brown trout.
Flows of 50 ft3/s are required July 1 to August 31 for
sufficient habitat for adult and juvenile brown and
rainbow trout. Other life stages that occur during the

2

above categories (e.g., rainbow fry) are protected by
those flows.
Channel maintenance flows would be 2,000 ft3/s
for 7 days every other year. A maximum discharge
of 500 ft3/s is allowed for daily incremental changes.
Given the 500 ft3/s increments, the daily amounts on
the rising and falling limbs of the hydrograph are
1,500, 1,000, and 500 ft3fs, respectively.
