The NPS also would not <br />support any proposals within the region that would directly <br />or indirectly alter the character or use of the lower Gunnison <br />Gorge. <br /> <br />Same as Alternative 1. <br /> <br />Temporary withdrawals for hydropower developments have <br />disallowed major on.the-ground evaluation by developers. <br />BlM would recommend the revocation of powersite reserves <br />and BOA withdrawals affecting the Gunnison Gorge. <br /> <br />Same as Alternative 3, Option A. <br /> <br />FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />m____ __ <br /> <br />Would be determined upon completion of General <br />Management Plan and public involvement. In NPS <br />wilderness, facilities limited to the types and number <br />essential to meet minimum requirements for administration <br />of wilderness area. Generally facilities restricted to <br />development zones along the perimeter. <br /> <br />Same as Alternative 1. <br /> <br />Developments limited to signing, delineation of trailhead <br />parking, and sanitary facilities for the major trail access <br />points. <br /> <br />Will construct trail heads, restrooms, and viSitor contact <br />stations. <br />
