I have a limited background in <br />12 hydrology, mostly as it applies to water court <br />13 cases, and in particular injury to water rights, <br />14 specifically. <br />15 Q. When did you acquire that background <br />16 in hydrology? <br />17 A. Just over the last six years as <br />18 serving as counsel to the CWCB and to the State <br />19 Engineer, and then my current role as serving at <br />20 the Colorado Water Conservation Boarde <br />21 Q. So I take it, then, you did not have <br />22 that background in hydrology at the time you <br />23 observed the stretch of the Blue River where the <br />24 course is now constructed? <br />25 A.
