-16- <br />Temperature, hardness and turbidity readings <br />times each day. Water temperatures were taken at <br />12:00 noon, 2:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. <br />three times daily; 8:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 4:0~ <br />were made at 12:00 noon, 8:00 a.m., and 4:00 p.m. <br />daily readings are presented in the table. <br />Station No. 4 - Toll Gate Rock <br />were taken a number of <br />2:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., <br />Hardness analysis were made <br />~ p.m. Turbidity readings <br />Weekly averages of these <br />This station is located at the site of a camp ground just off highway <br />30, T18N; R107W; S16. <br />Streamside vegetation on the east bank consists of a single line of <br />narrowleaf cottonwood trees extending approximately 1/4 mile along the <br />stream. There is no riffle at this sampling site; samples were taken <br />just off the stream bank. <br />The only aquatic plant at this station was the common pondweed, Potamoge- <br />ton pectinatus, and this plant was present in small amounts only. <br />
