Sawever, extreme cautioa is <br />needed in the artificial propagation segments to avoid selective breeding <br />that may eliminate natural (and necessary) variations within the group. <br />The p~Fose~ budget aad job segments appear reasonable, aithaugh I <br />t:a~ot make cammitmeats for this agency• Fuadiag will depend upoa a <br />cooperative agreement and actual determination of Nevada casts. <br />We do have as iaterest 1n the Colorado River chubs and we intend <br />to cooperate is the recovery effort. <br />Sincerely, <br />Robert C.
