To further assess project impacts on Colorado
squawfish, studies in addition to squawfish population
monitorintt were incorporated into the Taylor Draw
Reservoir Project. These studies. cooperative efforts
between the CDOW and the Colorado. Cooperative Fishery and }
Wildlife Research Unit (CCFWRU), sou~tht to infer squawfish !
response.to habitat alterations resulting from Taylor Draw
Dam construction and operation by investi~atin~ changes in
selected physical parameters and the entire fish community.
