ABSTRACT
The razorback sucker was once abundant throughout the
Colorado River drainage in the State of California. Today, its
nu*rrbers have dwindled to perilously few individuals. This
management plan presents a viable and conservative approach by
which this endange~ped fish species ray be recovex:ed in the State.
The Man is-based upon a decade of roinL-r.oduction and, research
l~r.ograms, including ~~n act.i_ve j~ecovery efr"_ort l~einc~ pursued by the
State of ~~ri-~ona a~Yd thF~ U.S. Eislz and G,~i:ldi.ifr~ Service. :~)i.thiout
a similar effort by the State of C~z~lifornia, this once-abundant
