examine range of movement between recaptures. All but the latest
recaptures have been reported and discussed in earlier reports
(Wick et al. 1981 and 1985). A complete summary of humpback chub
recaptures to date seemed appropriate to coincide with the
reporting of Colorado squawfish recaptures. Beginning in 1981, the
responsibility for humpback chub monitoring was assumed by the
research branch of the CROW. Since then there has been less
emphasis on collecting humpback chub on this project.
