stabilize following the record flows of 1984.
Objectives of field work in 1983 were to 1) document
reproduction of Colorado squawfish in the Colorado River, 2)
determine species composition and relative abundance of all age
classes of fishes from Colorado River, river miles 150-170, and 3)
determine relative abundance of adult fishes at special sites on
the Yampa River. In 1984, objectives were to 1) initiate a
scaled-down monitoring program for adult Colorado squawfish and
2) characterize habitat types within each intensive section.
