Both dams are categorized as Class I, High Hazard dams and as such are under the <br />jurisdiction of the State Engineer's Office (SEO). <br />This grant application requests funding for three projects including work at both Milton <br />Reservoir and Barr Lake: <br />• Milton Outlet Works - Remove and replace the existing outlet gate structure and <br />repair a portion of the piped outlet works through the dam <br />• Milton Spillway - Enlarge the existing emergency spillway <br />• Barr Spillway - Enlarge the existing spillway and raise the perimeter dike <br />Each of the three projects are described in detail below. Descriptions include alternatives <br />considered, cost estimates, a preferred alternative and potential impacts. <br />5 <br />
