This case is an appeal of the first case tried under statutory amendments known as
the "Senate Bill 216 amendxnents" to the Water Right Determination and Administration Act of
1969, C.R.S. § 37-92-101 et seq. The issues that have been presented to this Court are complex.
While Upper Gunnison has endeavored to meet the present deadline for its Answer Brief, it
requires one additional day to complete its brief, to and including September 30, 2004, within
which to file its Answer Brief.
WHEREFORE, Upper Gunnison requests the. Court to grant its motion for a one-day
extension of time up to and including September 30, 2004, to file its Answer Brief.
