Leo M. Eisel, Ph.D., P.E. <br />• Wetlands <br />Wetlands/Permitting Investigation, Van Vleet Property, Boulder, Colorado <br />PmjectManager. A wetlands and permitting investigation was performed for <br />the Van Vleet pxoperty near Boulder in ordex to determine necessary steps <br />required for making this pxoperty buildable. A wetlands invesrigation was <br />conducted and coordinated with Boulder County. Necessary construcrion <br />work was completed in order to produce buildable sites on this pxoperty in <br />compliance with all regulations. <br />Wetlands Protection, City of Littleton, Colorado <br />PmjectManager. Deternuned necessary protective measuxes to assure no <br />injury to a wetlands area from a proposed well field. Augmentarion and <br />temporary substitute supply plans were also completed. In addition, <br />hydrologic studies were completed for purposes of protesting water rights <br />applications by others. <br />Hazardous Waste <br />Criner Oklahoma SuperFund Site, State of Oklahoma, Oklahoma <br />ProjectManager. Served as pxoject manager for a gxoundwater and surface <br />water investigation of this Superfund site. <br />• Eagle Mine Superfund Site Investigation, Vail Associates, Vail, Colorado <br />PmjectManager. Investigated adequacy of the Eagle Mine Superfund clean-up <br />project neax Minturn, Colorado to pxotect downstream residents. This <br />xequired review of all groundwater and suxface water quality data, review of <br />design adequacy of remediation features, and xeview of all clean-up <br />xequixements and xegulations. <br />Gold Mining Discharge Study, Nevada Goldfields Incorporated, Empire, Colorado <br />Prvject Manager. Conducted watex quality investigarion for Nevada Goldfields <br />Inc. DeteiYnuied quality of existing discharge from gold mine pxoperty and <br />developed alternative treatment/management progxams to insure that <br />future discharge after addirional miiung would not violate watex quality <br />standards. <br />Groundwater Quality Investigation, Denver International Airport, City of Denver, <br />Colorado <br />ProjectManager. Groundwater quality investigations concexned the potential <br />contaniiation from adjacent Rocky Mountain Arsenal, landfills, and <br />petroleum refineries. Developed watex quality sampling program to <br />deterinine existence and extent of gxoundwater contamination. Completed <br />Section 404 permit application including verification of wetlands inventory, <br />wetlands impact study, and preparation of permit applications. <br />Cotter Corporation Superfund Site Investigation, Canon City, Colorado <br />ProjectManager.
