controlled width that will create a pooling effect upstream and control, concentrate, and direct <br />the flow through the structures at a sufficient velocity and depth to produce a reasonable <br />recreational experience associated with the beneficial uses described below. <br />3. Legal Description of the Structures. The Course will be approximately 600 feet long, <br />located within the channel of the Blue River in the town limits of the Town of Silverthorne <br />between the Interstate-70 overpass and the Colorado Highway 9 bridge as depicted on the map <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A-2, in South'/2 of Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 78 West of <br />the 6`h P.M., Summit County, Colorado. The approximate locations of the center points of the <br />three structures within the Course are as follows: <br />Structure 1 located in the S/2 of Section 12, TSS, R78 W, <br /> 6th P.M.at a point 1050 feet from the south <br /> section line and 2380 feet from the east section <br /> line of said Section 12 <br />Structure 2 located in the S/2 of Section 12, TSS, R78 W, <br /> 6t" P.M.at a point 1250 feet from the south <br /> section line and 2520 feet from the east section <br /> line of said Section 12 <br />Structure 3 located in the S/2 of Section 12, TSS, R78 W, <br /> 6th P.M.at a point 1470 feet from the south <br /> section line and 2590 feet from the east section <br /> line of said Section 12 <br />Although the precise location of the structures may, upon construction, be somewhat different <br />from the locations described above, the structures will generally be distributed evenly through <br />the stream reach described above. Provided that the locations of all the structures remain within <br />the stream reach described above, any variation in structure location from the locations described <br />herein will be simply described in the decree entered herein or, if such decree is entered before <br />construction of any or all of the structures, in subsequent applications for diligence or <br />applications to make absolute the water rights claimed herein <br />4. Source: Blue River, Salt Lick Gulch and Straight Creek, tributaries of the Blue River, a <br />tributary of the Colorado River. <br />5. A. Date of appropriation: December 31, 2004 <br />B.
