SOUTH PLATTE LOWER RIVER GROUP, INC: <br />Director Treadway stated tha.t a successful tour of the Tamarack Project was held on October 25, <br />2000 for Peter Jacobsen, State Director for Senator Wayne Allard. Greg Brophy, Aide to Senator <br />Allard as well as representatives from various state agencies also attended the tour. <br />The South Platte Lower River Group designated $85,000 at it's last meeting to partner with <br />LSPWCD, GASP and/or other entities in the construction and development of water projects <br />along the lower reaches of the South Platte River. <br />The next meeting of the South Platte Lower River Group will be held Thursday, December 7, 2000 <br />at the District office. The Executive Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. with the regular meeting <br />starting at 9:00 a.m. The main thrust of the meeting will center around a grant application of <br />approximately $500,000 from the Water Conservation Fund.
