Julesburg Recharge Project: <br />Manager Frank reported that the billing for the 2006 pumping season has been sent to the <br />subcommittee for their review. Manager Frank woul_d like the bills to go eu± as soon as possible <br />so that payments can be received by the end of December. <br />LEGAL REPORT: <br />Included in Counsel Lawrence's report were the following: <br />The Board reviewed the pending court cases with Counsel Lawrence. A vote will <br />be taken in December to deteinzine whether to withdraw frorn any of those cases. <br />Augneniaiion rian - i.ounsei i.,awrence reported tnat he naci maiied the revised <br />decree to the objectors. <br />PRESIDENT'S REPORT: <br />Vice President Fritzler reminded the Board that those Directors whose terms expire December <br />31, 2006 are: Jim Aranci, Steve Bolinger, Allen Coyne, Steve Edwards and Bob Lingreen. <br />Applications for reappointment should be mailed to Judge Steve Shin by December l, 2006. <br />MANAGER' S REPORT: <br />Included in Manager Frank's report were the following: <br />Director Powers made the motion to amend one sentence in the District's Bv- <br />Laws under Article III section 31 Election and Term of Office. The amended <br />sentence shall read "The officers of the District shall be elected annuall a <br />first regular meeting of the Board of Directors held each vear to serve the next <br />ey ar„• Director Bolinger seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Manager Frank noted that 560 applications have been received for the Water 2025 <br />Grant. Manager Frank thanked the Journal Advocate for running an article about <br />the 2025 grant in it's agricultural section of November 7, 2006. <br />Manager Frank gave an update on the formation of the District 64 Reservoir <br />Company. An informational letter along with stock purchase agreements and the <br />draft By-Laws will be mailed this week to all those individuals who submitted <br />pledge forms. Certified funds are due by Wednesday, November 22, 2006. <br />-3-
