Julesburg Recharge Project: Augmentation Plan - Gaunsel Lawrence stated that the draft decree and tables have been sent to the objectors for their review. Manager Frank noted that the 2006 billing for augmentation will be mailed to the well owners in November. LEGAY., RLPORT: Counsel Lawrence reminded the Board that even though the District's augmentation plan is scheduled for court in April of 2007, a substitute supply plan still needs to be submitted by December 31, 2006 to cover the first quarter of 2007. Counsel Lawrence advised the Court that Lower will call no witnesses but reserves the right to participate, if necessary, in the cross-examination of wiinesses. PRESIDENT'S REPORT: President Stromberger reminded the Board that Directors whose terms expire December 31, 2006 are: Jim Aranci, Steve Bolinger, Allen Coyne, Steve Edwards and Bob Lingreen as well as one opening from last year for Morgan/Washington County. Applications for reappointment should be mailed to Judge Steve Shinn by December 1, 2006. President Stromberger and Manager Frank attended an SPWRAP informational meeting at Northeastern Junior College on October 3, 2006. President Stromberger asked the Directors to note the Platte River Recovery Implementation Program Summary insert which includes a section on the Role of the South Platte Water Related Activities Program (SPWRAP) in the Board packets. Manager Frank reported that on October 2, 2006 a meeting was held at Northeastern 3unior College to initiate the start of a new District 64 reservoir company to purchase the Ovid Reservoir Project from GASP. Manager Fra.nk said that 80% of the needed fimds were pledged that night and to-date 108% has been pledged. President Stromberger noted that the nominating committee for the 2007 officers will be appointed at next month's Board meeting. -3-
