<br />MAllTAGER'S REPORT: <br />Included in Manager Frank's report were the foilowing: <br />Manager Frank met again with the office landlord regarding the possibility of the <br />office moving across the parking lot. The new office space would have only one <br />entrance and would be approximately 313 square feet less than what we presently <br />have so unless the landlord adds more to his offer a move does not appear to be <br />feasible at this time. <br />• Manager Frank reported that the offer the Ovid Reservoir Company made to <br />GASP was accepted. The Company now pians to apply to the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board for a loan to pay GASP for the purchase of land, water rights <br />and preliminary engineering. <br />Manager Frank and Director Fritzler will be meeting tomorrow, June 14t'' in <br />Greeley with representatives from the Division of Water Resources and the <br />Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District regarding the Flow Monitoring <br />Program. Director Fritzler has been developing the Visual South Platte program <br />which will provide real time flow, aetive calls, water commissioner comments as <br />well as historic average daily flow data. The District has increased internet speed <br />and is now hosting its own website as a means of providing faster and more <br />efficient access. <br />Director Powers made the motion to apnrove the purchase of a cell phone <br />(gnnroximately $300) and pav the monthly service charee (,qpproximatelv $10) to <br />enabie real time data from the South Platte Ditch to_be collected at Lower's office. <br />The Division of Water Resources and Northern have already purchased and <br />insta.lled substantial quantities of data loggers, sensors and telemetry equipment in <br />addition to paying various monthly service charges for the other ditch systems in <br />the Flow Monitoring Program. Director Mari seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. Treasurer Powers noted that fiznding for these charges will corre fram the <br />District Programs portion of the District's budget. <br />Manager Frank attended the SWSI Phase II "Addressing the Gap" technical <br />roundtable meeting in Frisco on May 23, 2006. <br />No applicants have yet applied for the Morgan County Board member position. <br />The Children's Water Festival was held on May 16th at Northeastern Juniar <br />College. Manager Frank and Technician Willeke built an aquifer and fartn model <br />for their presentation. <br />-4-
