2007 Water Supqly <br />XWyoming Reservoirs <br />¦806,000 acre-feet carry-over storage <br />¦56% of average carry-over <br />¦29% of capacity <br />XLake McConaughy <br />¦364,200 acre-feet <br />¦32% of average carryover <br />¦21% capacity <br />Projecting near record low flows in the South Platte and North Platte Rivers in 2007 <br />2007 Plan of Operations <br />Due to the below normal water supply forecasts and near record low Lake McConaughy <br />carry-over storage, the Districts will follow a drought mode of operation to maximize the <br />combined storage in Lake McConaughy and the Sutherland Project. <br />XNon-Irrigation Season <br />¦Releases to maintain Sutherland Reservoir and as necessary for icing conditions <br />XIrrigation Season <br />¦Releases to meet irrigation demands <br />XEA Operations <br />eBegan with approximately 114,496 acre-feet <br />¦ Will contribute about 34,000 acre-feet <br />¦Possible winter/early spring pulse flow <br />Central's board has voted to implement a shorter than normal imgation season due to the <br />reduced storage water supply. Releases of Central's storage water from Lake <br />McConaughy for delivery to their irrigation customers are anticipated to begin in June <br />and end in August. The delivery rate of 6.7 inches over eight weeks is expected to be <br />delivered in 2007.
