The annual plan will address <br />the goals stated in 2.4.1 and include the following: <br />1. An educational program suitable and directed at elementary age students. <br />2. Farticipation in educational seminazs targeting the general public. This may include <br />participatibn in community sponsored events such as the Wings Over the Platte in Grand <br />Island, Nebraska, and Audubon Spring River Conference in Kearney, Nebraska. <br />3. Meetings with private landowners on the Platte River to inform them of suitable <br />management practices for developing threatened and endangered species habitat. Such <br />meetings may include educational seminars, demonstrations and may be held in conjunction <br />with other community events. <br />4. Production of an annual report suitable for distribution to various local, state and federal <br />governmental officials, describing the goals of the habitat acquisition and management plan, <br />and efforts made during the past year to meet those goals. <br />18
