That is, we <br />set the model to correctly estimate all three subpopulations in aggregate. <br />Colorado River Population <br />The only estimates of adult CS abundance comes from mark-recapture estimates in the <br />Colorado River arm of the upper Colorado River Basin (Osmundson and Burnham <br />1996). We selected survivorship values (means and variances) based on the <br />estimated parameter values where they existed- and added parameter values where we <br />had no estimates to mimic the population estimates and dynamics reported by <br />Osmundson (1996).
