Title of Proposal: <br />~, FIVE-YEAR FLAMING GORGE FLOW RECOMMENDATION INVESTIGA710N <br />II. Relationship to RIPRAP and Recovery Program: <br />The Five-Year Flaming Gorge Flow Investigations is focused primarily on development <br />of flow recommendations for the Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam and <br />~j development of supporting information as needed. Specific aspects of the RIPRAP <br />which are being addressed within Research Program fall within the Green River Action <br />Plan and include: <br />,~ •1.A.1.b -Identify winter/spring flows needed for recovery, <br />•1.A.1.c -review summer/fall flow recommendations, <br />•V.A.1 -verify additional Colorado squawfish spawning areas in lower Green, <br />•V.A.2 -identify additional razorback sucker spawning areas in lower Green, and <br />•V.A.3 -investigate Gila spp. distributions and abundance throughout Whirpoo! and <br />lower Lodore Canyons. <br />1 <br />
