Summary of Water Sources <br />Hydrology and water quality study allowed us to identify 4 <br />major water sources feeding the wetlands. (1) The Green River <br />which via groundwater flow influences stations near the river in <br />the southern portion of the study area. (2) The saline <br />groundwater entering the study area from the northeast. (3) The <br />low salinity groundwater entering from the east. (4) The <br />moderate salinity groundwater entering from the southeast. Water <br />sources 2 and 4 contain moderate to high selenium concentrations. <br />Water source 3 appears to dominate during the mid to late summer <br />maintaining the low salinity, low selenium concentrations. <br />29 <br />
