Flaming Gorge Reservoir. <br />Maximum flows in cubic feet per second (cfs) for May and <br />June of each year for the period of record are shown in Figure 3. <br />Tremendous differences in maximum flows between years occurs in <br />the early part of the record, followed by a period from 1963 to <br />the present with little annual variability, interrupted by the <br />great water years of 1983 and 1984. Control of Green River flows <br />by Flaming Gorge Dam reduced peak flows after 1963.
