Habitat change was evaluated under high (4000 cfs) and low flow (800 cfs)
regimens. Presence/absence of YOY Colorado squawfish in dffferent habitats
was determined from seining collections. Ia previous years 1980 aad 1981,
young Colorado squawfish were marked by fin clipping and followed over the
period of flow change.
RAZORBACK SUCKER SPAiiNING COLLECTIONS
Recorded capture sites of razorback sucker from the Green River were
obtained from earlier studies and CRFP data (Tyus et al. t982a), and probable
spawning areas were investigated by eleccrofishiag during the Spring Survey
Program. In 1985, 5 razorback sucker were implanted with radiotransmittera
and tracked. Nicrohabitat data were recorded for each radio contact. All
razorback suckers were tagged with Carlin dangler Lags. Data from 1986
studies are included.
CHUB COLLECTIONS
Collections of roundtail and humpback chubs were made incidental to other
sampling programs between 1982-1985. Fishes were captured by electrofiahing
and trammel netting. Angling was initiated in 1985, using worms and 14oraon
crickets. All G11a species were weighed. measured and photographed on a 1 cmZ
grid board for future taxonomic work.
SENSITIVE ARBA ANALYSIS
Sensitive areas and general species distribution were determined from
radiotelemetry, catch data, and other information. Concentration areas were
obtained by using catch-effort data as an indication of relative abundance.
zo
