Savery Creek and the Little Snake River. PMP analyses showed
post-development PMF water surface elevations to range up to
1.7 feet below the predevelopment elevations. Sandstone Dam and
Reservoir would reduce expected flood damages by an average of
$6,100 annually. The present value of this flood control benefit
in constant 1956 dollars is $117000 when discounted to 1989
using a four percent discount rate that is not adjusted for
inflation.
