Streamflow and Mean Temperature:
Figure 1 illustrates the relationship between streamflow and temperature. The intent of Figure 1
was to see if there were any type of relationships between the peak flow at Cameo and mean
daily temperature at Glenwood Springs, as way of estimating the timing of the streamflow peak.
As Figure 1 illustrates, it appears that in 1997, approximately seven days after the mean
temperature at Glenwood Springs reached 60 degrees, the flow at Cameo then peaks.
