The endemic fishes were found relatively healthy; no detectable virus was found. The <br />most likely threat to culture of endangered fishes was thought to be the motile aeromonads <br />(Aeromonas hvdroohila) and pseudomonads (Pseudomonas sp.) frequently related to <br />mortalities in present cultural systems. Saorolemia was stated to be the probable limiting <br />factor in the rearing and propagation of endangered fish. <br /> <br />A-20 <br />
