0 <br />S <br />Minutes of a Special Meeting <br />Colorado River Wildlife Council <br />January 14, 1988 <br />Tucson, Arizona. <br />Attending: William Geer, Utah (Chairman) <br />Temple Reynolds, Arizona <br />Pete Bontadelli, California <br />Jim Ruch, Colorado <br />William Morris, Wyoming <br />Harold. Olson, New Mexico <br />William Molini, Nevada <br />Roderick Stone, Secretary <br />William Geer called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m., and presented four <br />items of business which the Council had agreed to consider at this special <br />meeting. <br />1 Consider the information obtained from investigation of certain other <br />organizations similar to the CLtWC. <br />2- Estimated costs of Council operations under new operational modes. <br />3- The reply by USBR to Council's April 1987 resolution on mitigation <br />funding. <br />4- USM reply to Council's letter on National Fisheries Policy. <br />5- Any other new business which Council may wish to address. <br />Information obtained from other organizations: <br />Rod Stone reviewed the information, which had been provided previously to <br />Council members, resulting from his conversations with officers of other <br />organizations involved in business along the Colorado River. This included <br />the Colorado River Water Users Association and the Upper Colorado River <br />Commission. The directors then discussed viewpoints presented by members of <br />their staffs after review of these materials. <br />STATE MEMBERSHIP: Arizona -,amie and Fish Deoartment.
