With Pioneer, he has <br />served as a project manager and natural resource management specialist, and has <br />demonstrated expertise in social as well as natural science, environmental compliance, <br />rangeland management, reclamation/rehabilitation and technical writing. <br /> <br />2.2.7. Discipline Manager: Wetlands <br /> <br />John Stewart. Field Biologist, Mr. Stewart holds a Bachelor's degree in Range Science <br />from Utah State University, Prior to his employment with Pioneer, he held positions with <br />several federal resource management agencies and spent a year working with Ducks <br />Unlimited of Mexico doing vegetation analyses on a preserve north of Monterey. His <br />experience with Pioneer includes wetlands delineations at numerous well locations and <br />proposed pipeline corridors in Colorado's Parachute gas field, as well as at several ski areas <br />in Colorado. In addition, he has surveyed mountain lakes in Colorado for the Rocky <br />Mountain Capshell snail. <br /> <br />2.2.8. Discipline Manager: Vegetation <br /> <br />Eve Davies. Biological Resources Specialist. Ms, Davies holds a Masters degree in Ecology <br />from Utah State University. She has worked for 9 years with universities and federal <br />resource management agencies as a field biologist and has been involved in a wide range of <br />projects. With Pioneer, she has specialized in vegetation typing and inventory, wetland <br />delineations and surveys for plant species of concern. She has worked in cold desert, <br />riparian, montane, and alpine habitats in Utah, Colorado, and other western states, and is a <br />very competent technical writer familiar with environmental regulations and permit <br />processes. <br /> <br />2.2.9. Discipline Manager: Wildlife <br /> <br />William A. Adair. Wildlife Habitat Specialist. Mr, Adair holds a Bachelors degree in Wildlife <br />Ecology, a Masters degree in Wildlife Conservation and is currently working towards his <br />Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology at Utah State University, As a graduate research assistant for <br />Utah Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit Mr. Adair is developing a habitat <br />assessment model for the Endangered Newfoundland marten. While working for the <br />Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at the University of Minnesota he incorporated <br />standards and guidelines into the Snap II decision making environment for the Superior <br />National Forest land Resource Management Plan, His efforts included encoding forest <br />growth models, spatially explicit forest economics models, and models for 39 indicator <br />species. Mr. Adair has also developed an integrated management plan for BS Hill <br />Opportunity Area and Coffee Creek Opportunity Area both located in the Tofte Ranger <br />District, Superior National Forest. <br /> <br />2.3.
