contact was lost; some of these later reappeared near their original capture
site--in the riverine part of the reservoir--during mid and late summer.

Fish in reaches 2 and 3 exhibited the least movement. Four fish moved
less than 5 mi, whereas five fish moved between 10 and 40 mi. Of the five
fish that moved, two moved upstream and three moved downstream. Mean TL of
radio-equipped fish from this area was smaller than that of fish from the
other reaches; however, differences in maximum displacement among river
reaches or among size classes of fish were not statistically significant.

Fish in the upper reach moved between Black Rocks (RM 136) and the Grand
Valley area (RM 155-175). In 1982~ most fish were radio-tagged and released
in upper or middle areas of this reach (~ 160-175) during May and June; one
of these (No. 20) moved upstream after its release and then moved rapidly
