~

Impact of Two Forks/Williams Fork Projects

Post Ruedi Round II/Green Mountain water sales (Environmental
Baseline) daily flow conditions at Cameo for May, June and July for
the period 1952-1982 were calculated by developing a percentage
based upon dividing the monthly HYDROSS mean by the monthly mean at
the Cameo USGS gage. Daily flows from the Cameo gage were then
multiplied by the derived percentage to produce a new daily flow
for Cameo which has been adjusted for all projects included in the
1952-1982 period of record.

working from the adjusted daily flow at Cameo, post Two Forks and
Williams Fork flows were calculated by subtracting project
depletion. The depletions were subtracted in the order in which
they occurred (Two Forks then Williams Fork) with an assumption
that they occurred at a constant rate for each day in the month.

Peak mean daily flows at Palisades for each year in the period of
record were calculated by assuming the difference in monthly means
between Cameo and Palisades, after adjustment by the HYDROSS mean,
were representitive of the difference in daily values for the
sites.

8
