<br />Color, plain olivaceous fading to whitish on belly; head and

<br />The Humpback Sucker is found only in the Colorado drainage.
<br />Specimens 20 inches long weigh about 5 pounds. It is reported to
<br />grow to a weight of 8 to 10 lbs., and a length up to 30 inches. Little
<br />life history information is available. It spawns in the spring when
<br />temperature of the water reaches about 600 F. Spawning takes place
<br />over silt, sand or graveled bottoms.
