Under both the No Action and preferred alternatives there are no disproportionate negative <br />impacts projected on any particular group of individuals. <br />Summary and Environmental Commitments <br />In summary, the primary effect of the proposed action would be to allow endangered fish to <br />migrate into upstream habitat and assist in the recovery of these species. The project is designed <br />and would be operated to avoid impacts or harm to existing water users, uses, and water rights. <br />The riffle and pool design is experimental, but this concept may be incorporated in the design of <br />passage facilities at similar low-head diversion structures. Construction impacts would be minor <br />and temporary. Table 1 summarizes a comparison of impacts of the No Action and preferred <br />alternative. <br />Table 1.
