Activities with the cooperating <br />agencies included regularly meeting with them, providing status reports concerning <br />progress, convening project planning meetings, arranging conference calls, and facilitating <br />regular interaction among the parties. <br />Reclamation and the Service have conferenced/consulted, both formally and informally, <br />regarding potential impacts to protected species which may occur as a result of implementa- <br />tion of the Preferred Alternative. Under the Native American Graves Protection and <br />Repatriation Act, Reclamation has consulted with interested and concerned Indian Tribes <br />and Nations as part of normal Navajo Reservoir operations. As part of Reclamation's <br />resource management planning, Reclamation will develop and implement a Cultural <br />Resource Management Plan for the Navajo Reservoir area.
