to manage nonnative fishes, and close coordination
of all recovery efforts with a wide variety of groups
including federal and State fish and wildlife
agencies, environmental organizations, and water
users. None of these actions, if done alone, is
expected to recover the endangered fishes.
Recovery Program participants believe that
multiple factors have contributed to the decline and
endangennent of the species, and multiple actions
will be necessary to achieve recovery of the
endangered fishes. In conjunction with the other
listed Recovery Program activities, habitat
restoration and protection is expected to help
achieve and sustain recovery.
