Box 25486, DFC <br />Denver, CO 80225 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Maddux: <br /> <br />The Colorado Department of Transportation Region 3 office has reviewed the Draft <br />Environmental Assessment for the proposed Acquisition and Enhancement of Floodplain <br />Habitats Along the Upper Colorado, Green and Gunnison Rivers and offer the following <br />comments. <br /> <br />Please ensure that before levees are breached, that induced flooding is analyzed to ensure <br />that it will not cause damage to the Interstate or highway systems in the area of the <br />activities.
