<br />~ <br /> <br />LFL COLLECTION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL <br /> <br />Hi <br /> <br />Acknowledgements <br /> <br />This initial draft of this collection policies and procedures manual was partially funded <br />by the Recovery Implementation Program for Endangered Fish Species in the Upper Colorado <br />River Basin (RIP) as part of a project to catalog and maintain preserved RIP collections. The <br />Recovery Program is a joint effort of the US. Fish and Wildlife Service, US. Bureau of <br />Reclamation, Western Area Power Administration, states of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, <br />Upper Basin water users, environmental organizations, and the Colorado River Energy <br />Distributors Association. The project contract was administered by Larry Crist and Christine <br />Karas, US. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Regional Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, <br />under Memorandum of Understanding O-FC-40-08910. Co-principal investigators on the <br />project were Robert Muth and Kevin Bestgen. <br />Early drafts were carefully reviewed and considered by LFL staff including Robert <br />Muth, Kevin Bestgen, Daniel Beyers, and John Hawkins, and collection assistant Diane <br />Miller. Before this document or a subsequent revision is considered final, it will be further <br />reviewed by appropriate university officials, curators of other collections, and representatives <br />of agencies or programs that have contributed substantially to the holdings of the LFL <br />Collection. <br />
