trials, the Colorado squawfish were tranquilized, measured and then segre-
gated in 3 groups for long-term observation: 1) fish that had not eaten
CCSPL and were not exposed to CCSP, 2) fish that had eaten CCSPL but not
CCSP, 3) squawfish that had eaten both CCSPL and CCSP. The Colorado squaw-
fish were then monitored for two months following their exposure to catfish
to check for problems arising from feeding on CCSP. Due to the extreme
value of these endangered fish, none were sacrificed to check for internal
injuries.
