This indicated that collections/packaging of hatchery samples was not the problem; either the <br />analysis of the parents was in error or fish lots were mixed prior to distribution at the hatchery. <br />This may represent a substantial problem for future work. <br /> The second objective of our quick survey was to determine if th ere were enough <br />variable loci in the Green River fish to make a number of differentially marked (genetically) <br />groups of offspring. It appears there are a good number of potential loci -- about 14 <br />although all <br />i <br />, <br />m <br />ght not prove out.
